February 8, 2006:
An updated GIS Data dataset is now available for January 2006. This is a complete update to the July 2005 dataset. For those doing historical research, previous updates will remain available upon special request. Click here to see the layers included in previous updates. IMPORTANT NOTE: Users with ESRI's ArcReader 9 installed may experience Windows Explorer crashes when trying to access the discs containing ArcReader PMF documents. Windows XP with Service Pack 2 seems to be most affected. See this bug report from ESRI for a workaround.

August 5, 2005:
An updated GIS Data dataset is now available for July 2005. This is a complete update to the original June 2004 GIS Data dataset. For those doing historical research, the June 2004 and its October 2004 and January 2005 updates will remain available upon special request. Click here to see the layers included in previous updates. IMPORTANT NOTE: Users with ESRI's ArcReader 9 installed may experience Windows Explorer crashes when trying to access the discs containing ArcReader PMF documents. January 21, 2005:
The January 2005 Update CD is now available for a cost of $6.00 (plus shipping if applicable). Layers included in this update are indicated by the * purple asterisks in the lists below. It is not necessary to purchase both the January and the previous October Update CD as any layers from previous updates not updated for January are included on the January Update CD. However, for those doing historical research, the October Update CD will remain available upon request. To fit all of the data onto a single CD-R, all layers have been individually compressed into ZIP archive format.

October 20, 2004:
The October 2004 Update CD is now available for a cost of $6.00 (plus shipping if applicable). Layers included in this update are indicated by the * red asterisks in the lists below. To fit all of the data onto a single CD-R, all layers have been individually compressed into ZIP archive format.
