The Summit County GIS Mapping web page combines a number of different
Fiscal Office web pages in a single, easy-to-use application. The
four tabs at the top of the page, Map, Parcel Search,
Other Info and Help, allow you to link to the
different pages at any time. For
example, if you would like to search for a parcel you would use the Parcel
Search Engine--accessed through the Parcel
Search tab. Once you have found the parcel you are looking for,
you can click a button that will switch you back to the ArcIMS viewer
where you will see a map of your parcel. The ArcIMS viewer,
activated by clicking the Map Viewer
tab, is a
fully-functional mapping application that allows you to zoom, pan,
measure, identify, select, and print images or features on the map.
In addition to viewing a complete list of the layers available on the map
viewer you can also make layers visible or active by using the Table of
Contents,
located on the right portion of the viewer. To learn more about the
different functions of the ArcIMS viewer click on any part of the image.
Quick Tips: This site is a frame-based application and using the certain browser controls can cause "JavaScript" errors. If you do experience errors of any kind when using the browser, a full refresh is required to restore the application. This is done by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and hitting the F5 key. |
